The Derby County Collection is a charitable trust led entirely by volunteers. The Collection consists of a proactive initiative by both supporters and Derby County Football Club to protect, preserve and promote the heritage of our illustrious club. The collection details over a hundred years of the club’s history, including items donated by both private collectors and the club itself.

The book charts the different shirt styles and colours of the football club from the initial matches in 1884 through to the modern sponsor covered kits. Detailed research has brought to light some new colours used and each shirt is shown either by a drawing or an actual match worn shirt. Other sections cover goalkeeper shirts, sponsors and design and development of the club badge used on the shirts.

A season by season listing of all the fixtures since 1940 where programmes have been issued. The 2017 edition also contains an illustrated history of the Derby County match programme from the earliest known card through to the re-designed programme in 2017.
